I began my career as a financial advisor at Waddell & Reed in 2017. Upon graduating, I knew I could get a job as a financial analyst and sit behind a computer screen all day, but my passion for helping people and relationships was too strong not to pursue a different career path. I decided to pursue financial advising because of a skillset in finance and a passion for people. My fervor for finance began when I was a child and desperately wanted a Game Boy game console. Whenever I got money for my birthday, Christmas, or an allowance I would save it in my colorful velcro wallet. Then, once I had enough money I bought my coveted Game Boy. I was so excited when I had finally saved enough money, not because of the money itself, but because of what the money could do for me. I believe money is a tool and a resource for helping us live the lives we want to live. As a financial advisor, I seek to help you meet your financial goals so that you can live a life that is meaningful to you. I help families and individuals make sense of their financial world, refine their financial goals, and align their finances to meet those goals. My focus is on retirement income planning, investment planning, cash flow management, and insurance.
I grew up in the beautiful state of Montana and moved to Nebraska before my freshman year of high school. I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance. I live in Lincoln, Nebraska with my wife, my newborn daughter, and my frenchton. My wife and I are actively involved in Lincoln Berean Church and I enjoy golfing in the summer, playing in a men’s slow-pitch softball league, and spending time with friends at coffee shops.
